Boutinot has been active in the country for more than 25 years, working alongside local partners and winemakers to showcase the diverse terroirs of Mendoza, particularly in the Uco Valley, Agrelo, and Maipú. Altitude plays a key role: it allows the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining their freshness, balance, and precision.
Malbec is naturally at the heart of this venture. Boutinot seeks out full-bodied, fruity wines that are always balanced by a lovely freshness. These are approachable, indulgent wines, designed to express Argentina’s sunny character without ever becoming heavy.
This approach is based on close collaboration with local stakeholders. Among them, the winery has partnered with the Bressia family and Bodega Urqo in the Uco Valley as part of the Azul y Blanco project.
