CHAMPAGNE LAGACHE
Founded in 1959 by Gilbert and Monique Lagache, Champagne Lagache has grown over the generations thanks to the family’s hard work. Taken over by Claude in 1981, the estate is now run by his daughter, Charlotte, who cultivates 10 hectares of vineyards. The estate produces approximately 100,000 bottles per year, managing every stage of viticulture and champagne production—from pruning to harvest, then from fermentation to blending, through aging, disgorgement, and bottling. 100% independent, the estate has been committed for the past four years to an environmental initiative recognized by the Level III High Environmental Value certification. Dedicated to preserving its land and terroirs, the family carries on the legacy of its founders. In tribute to past generations, a wall of photographs in the shop traces the estate’s history, highlighting in particular the quiet yet essential contributions of the women of the family, including the grandmother, who worked in the vineyard for over 60 years.
