Aydie Castle
Pacherenc Du Vic-Bilh | White | 2021
This wine is made from the Petit Manseng grape variety, grown on clay-gravel soils with optimal sun exposure. Hand-harvesting ensures meticulous selection of the grapes, picked at peak ripeness. After slow pressing and cold settling, the wine is aged on its lees in barrels, enriching its aromatic complexity. Bottling follows a 10-month aging period, preserving the full richness of the terroir.

Our opinion on the vintage
From the first glance, the silvery-yellow robe of this wine captivates the eye with its radiant brilliance. On the nose, a seductive blend of fresh pineapple and ripe apricot aromas unfolds, enhanced by subtle honeyed nuances. On the palate, the texture is both smooth and enveloping, with a finish marked by citrus notes delicately enhanced by a lingering touch of vanilla. This wine pairs perfectly with refined foie gras or fruity desserts, combining freshness and aromatic intensity.

Château D'Aydie
Sud-Ouest | France
Tannat rarely expresses itself with such mastery as in the Laplace family's Madiran. Extraction is controlled, the wine dense but never overwhelming. The more approachable cuvées offer a tender expression of the grape. The most ambitious display remarkable length. In short: structure and clarity.
