Chorey-les-Beaune

Chorey-lès-Beaune is a modest yet charming appellation in the Côte de Beaune, producing Pinot Noir reds on flat clay-limestone soils. Although often underrated, it offers authentic wines at reasonable prices.

Chorey wines are smooth, fruity (cherry, raspberry), and low in tannins; they can be enjoyed young or cellared for a few years. They offer a great introduction to the wines of the Côte de Beaune, with many prestigious Burgundy estates owning vineyards there.
