Cosmic Vinyaters
Cosmic is the wine project of the Còsmic Vinyaters estate, led by winemaker Salvador Batlle Barrabeig in Catalonia, who took over the family vineyard in 2013 to produce wines in harmony with the land.
The estate is located between the Alt Empordà region around Agullana and the Serra de Montmell in the Baix Penedès, on diverse terroirs exposed to the Tramontane wind, which allows for the cultivation of indigenous grape varieties adapted to the local environment using natural and biodynamic practices.
Cosmic produces a wide variety of wines, ranging from reds, whites, orange wines, and sparkling wines made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Carignan, Muscat, Sumoll, and Sauvignon, striving to capture the pure expression of the fruit and the terroir with no or very few additives.
