Domaine La Madura is a small estate located in the Saint-Chinian appellation, certified organic and HVE, where each vineyard is cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment. Arriving in the region in 1998, Nadia and Cyril Bourgne settled in Saint-Chinian—a return to his roots for Cyril, the grandson of a winemaker—after a career in science and extensive experience in oenology in the Bordeaux region. Together, they built a project that reflects their vision, blending technical precision with sensitivity. The estate draws its richness from the diversity of its terroirs, with plots situated between 150 and 300 meters above sea level, allowing for a staggered harvest and optimal ripeness of the grapes. Carignan, Grenache, and Mourvèdre for the reds, and Piquepoul and Sauvignon for the whites, give rise to fresh, elegant, and balanced wines. The modern winery, built in 2015 by local architects, perfectly reflects their contemporary vision of the winemaking craft.
