Domaine Lafage
Nestled between the sea and the mountains, Jean-Marc and Éliane Lafage have always dedicated their winemaking talents to the terroirs of Roussillon, with a constant commitment to quality that has built the reputation of Maison Lafage. A family estate since 1798, it is now run by the seventh generation, deeply attached to this mosaic of landscapes and soils. Jean-Marc readily recounts his early days working the vines alongside his father, on steep plots cultivated entirely by hand, where his passion for winemaking was born. After gaining winemaking experience in France and abroad, the couple returned to Roussillon to build a project that reflected their own vision. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable farming practices and are spread across three complementary areas: the Agly Valley for the richness of Catalan grape varieties, the Aspres for their elegance, and the Côte Maritime for the freshness brought by the sea breezes. A new winemaking cellar, recently inaugurated, allows for even greater precision in the winemaking process. The estate also aspires to develop wine tourism to better share this passion. Today, Lafage offers a wide range of wines, designed for all occasions, always guided by the same principle: respect for the terroir and the pleasure of wine.
