Vin de France | White | 2023

This white wine is produced using carefully managed organic and biodynamic methods, cultivated on clay-limestone terraces that promote excellent drainage. Aging takes place in old barrels and concrete eggs, imparting a unique complexity to the wine, further enhanced by meticulous settling and fermentation.

Our opinion on the vintage

From the moment it's opened, this wine captivates with its brilliant golden hue. It releases a delicate bouquet of warm apples, punctuated by hints of toasted brioche and spice. On the palate, the initial freshness is striking, giving way to a smooth and generous texture. A slight effervescence adds vibrancy, while the finish reveals heightened concentration with refined bitter notes, reminiscent of caramel and apricot kernel, enhanced by lingering toasty and spicy nuances.

Domaine Les Bruyères

Vallée du Rhône | France

In Crozes-Hermitage, Domaine Les Bruyères is run by David Reynaud, with an approach based on biodynamics and a constant search for balance. The Syrah is crafted with an elegant style, favoring the freshness of the fruit and the clarity of the structure rather than heavy extraction.

The red wines are distinguished by their fine texture and taut structure, with expressions of black fruit and violet characteristic of the region. Ripening is carefully controlled to maintain sustained energy on the palate and long, lingering finishes without heaviness. Extraction remains measured, resulting in precise and integrated tannins.

The white wines, made primarily from Marsanne and Roussanne grapes, offer balanced profiles, built on a smooth texture and a discreet acidity that supports the whole. Aging is carried out with restraint, with the aim of complementing the wine's structure without altering its character.
