Winemakers for four generations, the Létourneau family passionately cultivates the 8.5 hectares of Domaine Les Chais Létourneau, located in Burgy, in southern Burgundy. The estate has historically focused on white wines, made exclusively from Chardonnay, as well as the production of Crémant de Bourgogne, vinified in their own cellars. Since 1902, the vines have been cultivated using sustainable practices, with constant attention paid to the soil and the vine, in a quest for quality and consistency. The estate's history began with the production of vine cuttings at the beginning of the 20th century, before naturally expanding into sparkling wines in 1950, following oenological exchanges with Champagne. Today, certified HVE level 3, the estate is committed to an environmentally responsible approach.
