Domaine Jean-Yves Millaire is a family-owned winery located in Fronsac, on the right bank of the Dordogne River in Bordeaux. It has been run by Jean-Yves Millaire since 1998, after his grandfather, Jean Garnier, acquired the first plots of land in the 1950s. Today, Jean-Yves and his wife Christine cultivate approximately 47 hectares of vineyards spread across the AOP Canon Fronsac, AOP Fronsac, and AOP Bordeaux appellations.

The estate has been farmed organically since 2006 and biodynamically since 2009, with an approach aimed at respecting the natural rhythms of the vines and promoting soil vitality. The vines, planted on clay-limestone slopes, benefit from varied exposures that allow for plot-by-plot harvesting to ensure optimal ripeness.

The estate’s wines, made from classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, as well as white varieties like Chenin and Sauvignon, are renowned for their freshness, their distinct aromatic character, and their ability to faithfully reflect the terroir of the Fronsadais region.
