Domaine des Roches, run by Jérôme Lenoir and his family in Beaumont-en-Véron within the Chinon appellation in the Loire Valley, is a small family vineyard of approximately 3.5 hectares, inherited over several generations. The plots are primarily planted with Cabernet Franc, complemented by a small plot of Chenin Blanc, some of whose old vines have their roots firmly planted in the bedrock.

The grapes are harvested by hand and the winemaking is natural, with fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Aging, sometimes lengthy in very old wooden casks, aims to produce structured and profound red wines that faithfully reflect the expression of the terroir. A rare white Chinon is also made from old Chenin vines aged for several years.

The estate's production is confidential, with a limited number of bottles per vintage, which gives its wines a precious character sought after by lovers of natural wine and great Chinon.
