Le Domaine D’ici là

Rhône Valley | France

Domaine D’ici là is a vineyard nestled between the Rhône River and the mountains in southern Bugey, where Adrien Bariol and Florie Brunet cultivate approximately 6 hectares of organically farmed vines, tended by hand on steep slopes of glacial moraines. This limestone scree terroir imparts a characteristic minerality and freshness to the grapes, which is reflected in the wines produced.

The estate produces a diverse range of wines, including whites, reds, rosés, naturally sparkling wines, and macerated wines, all certified under the Bugey or Roussette du Bugey Montagnieu AOC designations, as well as orange wines and vintages aged in terracotta amphorae or demi-muids.

The winemaking process emphasizes natural methods using indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfur, and aging techniques tailored to each wine, in order to best express the energy of the terroir, the altitude, and the unique topography of this vineyard.
