Mas Cristine
Mas Cristine, also known as Domaine des Deux Puits, is a historic family-owned estate in Roussillon located in Argelès-sur-Mer, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, on soils of schist, quartz, and red clay that give the wines their characteristic elegance and freshness. Founded in the 19th century, it was taken over in 2006 by a new generation of winemakers who produce a wide variety of dry and sweet wines there.
The 25-hectare vineyard, cultivated using organic farming methods, produces full-bodied reds, fruity and mineral-driven whites, and summer rosés, as well as a fine selection of naturally sweet wines typical of the Roussillon region. Yields are kept low to enhance the wines’ aromatic concentration and balance.
The winemaking process combines tradition and precision, featuring hand-harvesting, whole-cluster pressing, and aging in tanks or barrels depending on the vintage, allowing each wine to elegantly reflect its Mediterranean terroir.
