Pithon-Paillé

Domaine Pithon-Paillé advocates a vision of wine focused on sharing, pleasure, and the authentic expression of the terroir, eschewing luxury codes and artificiality. During blind tastings, a single question guides their work: is the wine good, true, and balanced?

Established in 2008, the estate currently spans approximately 9 hectares, primarily planted with Chenin, distributed across the major terroirs of Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Quarts de Chaume. As a quintessential chameleon grape variety, Chenin reveals highly diverse expressions here depending on the soils, exposures, and microclimates, giving rise to cuvées with distinct identities.

The vines are cultivated organically, with particular attention paid to soil vitality and the natural balance of the vineyard. Cellar work prioritizes fruit quality and a faithful interpretation of the schist and volcanic terroirs, in order to preserve the purity and precision of the wines.
