Chile is one of South America’s most dynamic wine-producing countries, boasting a wide variety of terroirs: cool coastal valleys, sunny central valleys, and high-altitude Andean vineyards. Carménère, a Bordeaux grape variety that has all but disappeared in France, has found a new home here.

From the Casablanca Valley in the north to the Bío-Bío region in the south, Chile produces a wide variety of wines: full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignons, crisp Sauvignon Blancs, and elegant Pinot Noirs. The wine industry is constantly striving to improve quality.
