Tacama
Tacama is one of Peru’s oldest wineries, located in the Ica Valley, where it produces both wine and pisco, the traditional Peruvian spirit. Founded in the 16th century, the estate combines history and modernity by cultivating grape varieties suited to the desert climate and using Andean irrigation techniques to support viticulture in arid conditions.
The historic cellars evoke the colonial heritage and are now equipped with modern technology for winemaking and aging red and white wines, as well as pisco, which is an integral part of Peru’s culinary culture. The estate is renowned for its rich, aromatic wines, balanced by the freshness that the desert climate provides.
Tacama’s wines, along with its artisanal piscos, are major landmarks in the history of winemaking in South America, blending centuries-old tradition with contemporary developments in viticulture.
