Terra Remota

Terra Remota is a wine estate located in the Mediterranean region of Empordà, Spain, founded in 2002 by Marc and Emma Bournezeau, a French couple drawn to the potential of this viticultural land. The estate spans nearly 40 hectares and practices organic viticulture, respecting the soils and environment by prioritizing sustainable methods.

The vineyards produce a diverse range of red, white, and rosé wines from grape varieties such as Grenache, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Syrah, Xarel·lo, and Tempranillo, often certified organic. These wines are crafted to express the aromatic purity of the Catalan terroir, combining freshness, structure, and elegance.

Terra Remota's philosophy is rooted in the balance between tradition and innovation, with a winemaking approach inspired by the local geography and the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, yielding direct and expressive wines that embody the unique identity of Empordà.
