A family estate for three generations, Champagne Charbaux Frères has been cultivating vines on a wide variety of soils in the communes of Sézanne, Broyes, Allemant, Oyes, Villevenard and Congy. The main grape variety is Chardonnay. Planted on hillsides, the grapes are very ripe. The other two grape varieties are Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Our story

The history of the estate dates back to 1945, after the war, when two brothers decided to produce their first bottles of champagne. It was not until 1950 that our family moved in, with Simon and Raymond. They installed tanks that they buy second-hand in the Cognac vineyard.

Other little stories

We strive to offer quality and affordable champagnes. Our grapes are harvested at full maturity 100 days after flowering in crates.
