You could say that I was cradled in the vineyards. Son and grandson of a winegrower, since I was a child I followed my grandmother who took care of the vineyard. My parents, who are also winegrowers, taught me everything. This is how I knew from my earliest childhood that I would turn my passion for wine into a profession!....
Anecdotes about the domain
We focus our philosophy on sustainable work, respectful of the environment and wish to vinify more and more on a parcel by parcel basis. For the moment, we blend our parcels but the objective in a few years is to be able to present you these different soils.
The domain's short story
When Cyril's grandparents tended the vines, they still delivered grapes to the village cooperative. In 1964, Marie-Claude and Michel, his parents, took over the reins and decided to install their own wine press, thus beginning the adventure of winemaking at the Domaine. Today, it's Cyril's turn to lead a major project close to his heart. He wants each of the different plots that make up the family estate to eventually produce their own cuvée.
The winemaker's pride
I guess you could say I was brought up in the vineyards. As the son and grandson of winegrowers, I followed my grandmother as she tended the vines. My parents, also winegrowers, taught me everything I needed to know. I've been working my vines according to organic farming principles for almost 10 years now. But I don't want to stop there; I really want to continue along the path of biodynamic wine. However, it's not the quest for the macaron that motivates me; it's not really an end in itself for me. I believe that the most important thing is a job well done!
