Anecdotes about the domain

We're very attached to this property and its land. To make a good wine, you first need beautiful, ripe, healthy grapes. So we spend a lot of time together in the vineyards. Jérôme is passionate about his work and shares his knowledge with me. We use integrated farming methods and are starting our organic conversion with the 2018 vintage. Jérôme fell into wine as a child. As for me, I'm a guide-interpreter and trainer at the Bordeaux Wine School. In short, he makes the wine, I drink it!

The domain's short story

Boutinet is an 18th century property, nestled on the hillsides of the Fronsadais. Since 1950, the wines were vinified in a cooperative cellar. When we moved in, we decided to combine our knowledge, our passion and our love of the land to produce a wine from our best parcels.

The winemaker's pride

Located on the Fronsac hillsides, Château Boutinet is a property we bought in 2011. From now on, we'll be looking after the vines, the wines and the sheep. A magnificent 18th-century château waits patiently to be restored to its former glory.
