Château de Javernand is a family estate that produces authentic wines that respect nature, its terroir and its landscapes. Different vintages are to be discovered: Mâcon-Villages and Chiroubles, from the most fruity to the most full-bodied, including the cuvée nature... and soon Burgundy.
The estate was bought by Auguste Faye, then a wine merchant, in 1917. When he came to buy the harvest, he fell under the spell of this estate located on the heights of Chiroubles. Arthur Fourneau is now the fifth generation of winegrowers at the head of Château de Javernand. He has teamed up with a friend, Pierre Prost, also the son of a winegrower from southern Mâconnais.
For us, wine is above all a story of pleasure and sharing. We therefore take particular care, from the vine to the bottle, to produce authentic and generous wines. The idea of sharing inherent in the Cluster community is therefore perfectly in line with our approach.
To make a good wine, you need above all a quality grape. We cultivate our vines with this permanent objective, by practising sustainable viticulture, in order to respect the biodiversity and exceptional charm of our estate in one go, Javernand.
