Becoming a winemaker is my life's project, but its realization is definitely a family one. With Emma, who accompanies me in this adventure on a daily basis, we have explored the path of aromas with the objective of elaborating together a wine for her palate. A touch of sweetness, a fruity taste, a subtle balance between freshness and character: ELIXIR was born!

The domain's short story
On the road of aromas... My first scents, I picked them up as a child in the woods of my grandmother's sawmill, nestled in the heart of the vineyards of Entre-Deux-Mers. From trips to continents, a mosaic of flavors and smells gradually permeates my senses. Already lands and aromas intermingle and speak to me: coffee, cocoa, essential oils, aromatic herbs and fruits. I was 45 years old when I realized that my aromatic path was obvious: I had decided to leave the path of the food industry and to commit myself with determination to the path of the vine and wine! Back to my roots, it is in the Entre-deux-mers region that I set down my luggage with my wife and my two daughters and settled at Château Jeantieu. Discovering a profession and bringing to life a century-old estate, between tradition and modernity; respecting the heritage of those who shaped it and bringing my touch of exoticism to it; working the land until the elaboration of the most elegant nectar... This story is told in my wines and the pleasure of taste is shared.
The winemaker's pride
Located between the Entre-deux-Mers valleys and the St Macaire hillsides, the 16 hectares of vines on the property thrive on clay-limestone soil and generous sun exposure. The grape varieties come from the Bordeaux tradition: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds and rosé, Sauvignon, Muscadelle and Semillon for the whites.
