Graduated in philosophy of man and from the Louvre School in Greek archaeology, Patricia changed painting in 1991 when she became an oenologist and bought this field with great potential, then abandoned. She completely restructured it, drained and levelled it, replanted and founded Château La Calisse. In love with the vine, Patricia is now a symbol in Provence, the one of successful women!
Anecdotes about the domain
"The Château was formerly a silkworm farm, where silkworms were raised. Many other activities were practiced such as the cultivation of olive trees or almond trees to supply the workshops of calissons of Aix.
The domain's short story
With olive trees for strength and longevity and lavender for its protective properties surrounding the vines, Patricia cultivates with passion what nature can offer most generously. The winning triptych of vine, soil and work has allowed Patricia to make Château La Calisse a Grand Domaine de Provence in twenty years! The wines of Château La Calisse are wines of character to be discovered absolutely!
