The domain's short story
The property was acquired in 1840 by the Meunier family, who still run the vineyard today. It is the 5th generation that maintains and develops the activity of these vines. Located on the ancient sands of the West of Saint-Emilion, the property is close to the greatest names of Saint-Emilion like Château Figeac or Château Cheval Blanc.
The winemaker's pride
Our estate is located in the commune of Saint-Emilion, in the Bordeaux vineyards. We cultivate just over 5 hectares of vines to produce a single red wine in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation, two-thirds Merlot and one-third Cabernet Franc on vines with an average age of 35 years. We use traditional winemaking techniques and modern winegrowing techniques. Respect for the environment is one of our most important concerns today. We harvest by hand and protect our terroir in return.
