The domain's short story
It all started in the 1970s with Aline and Denis Aymard, our grandparents. They started planting vines and harvesting grapes a few years later. The production was then vinified in a cooperative cellar but very quickly the desire came to set up a private cellar and to make our own wines. We were convinced of the potential of our terroirs and of our appellation "Côtes du Ventoux". In 1979, with the help of their two sons, the construction of the cellar became an achievement. Jean-Marie and Michel worked hand in hand with their parents. We were then among the first independent producers in our appellation. In 2011, Anne-Laure, Jean-Marie's eldest daughter, consolidates the family business with her passion for the sector. Finally, in 2019, it is Carine's turn, the youngest daughter, to come and help and to settle down in order to perpetuate this family passion, the culture of the vine and the birth of the wine. Today our vineyard extends on about thirty hectares located at the foot of the Mont Ventoux, Regional Natural Park. The cultural vision that we have for our vineyards is that of any passionate winegrower who loves nature. Indeed, we favor mechanical work of the soil, we manually prune the vines, and we are also very interested in grassing, in the cohabitation of plant and animal species for the restoration of the ecosystem, and thus participate favorably in the life of our soils.
