"I am a man of passion. From my mother, a cook from Marseille, I have an early taste for the pleasures of the table which naturally led me to study oenology. With Anne, my wife, we created the "Centre Œnologique des Côtes du Rhône" in Cornas. Together, we have passed on our love of wine to our daughter Laure. Oenologist and globe trotter, she joins us in 2010 bringing her delicacy, her sensitivity and her freshness."
The domain's short story
Jean-Luc's dream of becoming a winemaker became a reality in the early 1980s when he acquired his first vineyard, a hillside planted with old vines overlooking the village of Cornas. The first Cornas vintage, "Les Ruchets", was born in 1987, and became the Domaine's flagship cuvée. Over the years, the vineyard grew and Jean-Luc was finally able to live his passion for wine to the full. Today, his daughter Laure is part of the team and has plans to set up her own domaine. Her name is well known to wine lovers, but she has managed to set herself apart by creating her own cuvées, such as her Saint-Peray "La Belle de Mai". Laure doesn't stop there, however, and joins forces with Jean-Jacques Dubourdieu for the Cuvée Carnivore, which they create together every year - proof of her audacity!
