Jean-Luc's dream of becoming a winegrower came true in the early 1980s with the acquisition of his first vineyard, a hillside planted with old vines overlooking the village of Cornas. From this, in 1987, the first vintage of Cornas, "Les Ruchets", was born, which became the Domaine's flagship cuvée. Over the years, the vineyard grew and Jean-Luc was finally able to live his passion for wine to the full.
"I am a man of passion. From my mother, a cook from Marseille, I have an early taste for the pleasures of the table, which naturally leads me to study oenology. With my wife Anne, we are creating the "Centre Œnologique des Côte du Rhône" in Cornas. Together, we passed on our love of wine to Laure, our daughter. Oenologist and globe second hand, she joins us in 2010 bringing her delicacy, sensitivity and freshness."
"Deeply committed to the values of conviviality and sharing, I like to spend time in the kitchen to delight my friends. You can't enjoy a good meal without the agreement of a good wine, and according to King Henry IV: "Good food and good wine is heaven on Earth."
