Raphël Marchel and Daniel and Catherine Hirsinger have an unusual story: they joined their two estates to become one, cultivated biodynamically. Their combined knowledge and know-how allow them to create wines that enhance their territory, covering 20 hectares, and to create vintages with a strong identity.
Their estate reflects their values: authenticity on the one hand, by not using any chemicals in the vines using biodynamic methods, and conviviality on the other, by combining their know-how to create cuvées with a strong identity! We try to bottle our grapes using age-old, natural methods, with no artificial additives, to ensure the integrity of the grape variety. We like our wines to be straightforward, straightforward and full-bodied. What we appreciate in the wine world is the mutual support and sharing of knowledge and experience. In our village, colleagues helped us get started by lending us their tools, advising, showing and explaining how they did certain things.
Raphaël Marchal, Catherine and Daniel HIRSINGER have taken up the challenge of combining two estates to create a single biodynamic estate. They have pooled their know-how to bring out the best in a mosaic of terroirs covering some twenty hectares, and to arouse as much emotion in tasting the wines as they do in making them.
