Domaine de l'Envol is the symbiosis of two domains: the family vineyards of Bernard, Manuela, Daniel and Catherine Hirsinger and the Jean Freudenreich House, led with passion by Raphaël Marchal. Both pioneers of bottling, they decided to join forces in 2016 to create a single estate that reflects their values: authenticity on the one hand, by not bringing any chemical products to the vines using biodynamic methods and conviviality on the other hand by combining their know-how to create vintages with a strong identity !
We try to bottle our grapes, from the living in bottles with millenary and natural methods without artifice for an integrity in the grape variety. We like frank, straight, gourmet wines with taste and substance. What we appreciate in the wine world is mutual support, the sharing of knowledge and experience.
In our village, colleagues allowed us to get started by lending their tools, advising, showing and explaining how they did for certain practices.
The union of two domains to create only one led a biodynamic process: this is the crazy challenge of Raphaël Marchal, Catherine and Daniel HIRSINGER.
They pool their know-how to enhance a mosaic of terroirs of about twenty hectares and arouse as much emotion during the tasting as they feel when producing the wines.
