Vignobles ENGEL

Domaine Engel is located in Orschwiller, in the Bas-Rhin region of central Alsace. At the foot of the Haut-Koenigsbourg, the village is the fief of this castle! In Organic Agriculture since 2014. Our harvest is 100% manual. We work with all the Alsatian grape varieties: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir; in AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru Praelatenberg and AOC Crémant d'Alsace! The majority of our vines are on the hillsides, with a perfect south-east exposure, a gneissic terroir (quartz and mica) which brings minerality and freshness to our vintages.

Our story

We are Independent Winegrowers and proud to be so ! A family estate above all, we are constantly seeking to evolve, both in the vineyard and in the vat. Hubert takes care of the vine and his son Pierre of the wine. We are complementary! We work all the grape varieties with the same passion.
