Born in the middle of the vats, with a bunch of grapes in his hand, Sébastien took over from his father in 2010. He pays particular attention to the work of his land. A single motto: to enhance the value of the terroir and above all not to rely solely on the prestige of Alsatian grape varieties. Sébastien is dedicated to the Crémant d'Alsace. Today, in order to be more in line with his philosophy, Sébastien has started the conversion of his domain to organic farming.

The domain's short story

ORGANIC FARMING CERTIFICATION FROM 2020 Domaine Schwach, a vibrant saga that lasts.François the epicurean, creator in the 1950s. Then Philippe, a tireless daredevil, modernized the operation and gambled brilliantly on crémant. Today, Sébastien meticulously perfects the work he has begun by striving for continuous improvement. With his dynamic team, he integrates the necessary application of practices that are resolutely respectful of the environment. Our vineyard is undergoing AB conversion (certification from the 2020 harvest), and our ambition is to turn these "constraints" into a strength. So, are you ready to savor our vineyard bliss?
