Domaine Sainte Octime

Domaine Sainte Octime cultivates and vinifies 25 ha of vines in the lands of Sardan, a small village in the first clay-limestone foothills of the Cévennes. The estate is committed to the practice of organic farming (in conversion) and respectful of our environment (mechanical soil work, controlled grassing, sheep grazing,...). The terroir, the variety of grape varieties, the controlled yields, and the freshness of the summer nights allow the vines to express their aromatic potential to the fullest. All the wines are made in IGP Cévennes, an appellation that allows a large number of atypical grape varieties and blends, such as the white "Les Six Vépages" or the red "Les Gres" (Syrah-Cabernet). A production of 6 vintages declined in 3 colors, offering an aromatic palette between power and elegance, between finesse and balance...

Our story

Lionel Rampon comes from a long line of winegrowers. At 33 years old, with his partner Elodie, he cultivates 25 ha of vines in the heart of the beautiful Cévennes countryside. Stubborn by nature, its trademark is to stand out, to do something different, while perpetuating the family tradition. His objective remains to give great importance to the work of the vine and to produce wines that are increasingly original and of high quality in order to showcase the richness of the grape varieties in his estate.
