Domaine Valambelle

Our story

The Valambelle estate is an exclusively family-run business. The estate has a surface area of 24 hectares of vines, 18 hectares of which were planted in the 1980s on the surrounding scrubland by father Michel Abbal in one of the most schistose parts of the FAUGERES appellation on steep, sunny slopes totally lost in the middle of nature. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in boxes and sorted by hand as they enter the cellar for optimum selection of the berries. In the cellar, the wines are carefully made by the fifth generation of winegrowers and winemakers, Thierry Abbal, assisted by his sister Marie.
