Our vineyards are cultivated in an eco-responsible way. In 2016 we will invest in an interceps tool to eliminate weeding. If the soil and the climate make our terroir it is important for us to preserve them.
The domain's short story
Our wines reflect the mastery of our vineyards located around Scherwiller. First of all, the communal appellation: "SCHERWILLER", ideal for Riesling, is the pride of the estate. Located at the exit of the valleys of Villé and Sainte-Marie-aux-mines, this sedimentary soil benefits from an exceptional climate. Then the "RITTERSBERG" and "ORTENBERG" located on granitic slopes exposed to the South-East give wines with more character. Which according to the image of the house will keep the finesse and the aromatic delicacy of Riesling pinot gris and gewurztraminer. Finally, for the festive moments, our know-how will allow you to enjoy wines of high concentration such as the "VENDANGES TARDIVES" and "sélections de grains nobles", or to sparkle with our excellent Crémant d'Alsace, fine and delicate, all in lace!

Gilbert Ruhlmann Fils wines are the result of the passionate work undertaken by the Ruhlmann family since 1958... Guy and Pascal perpetuate the knowledge taught by Gilbert and Marie-Cecile, their parents.
