Anecdotes about the domain

We are committed to the fight against global warming with our conversion to organic farming. We also have biodynamic practices: herbal teas, cereal sowing, compost. We have installed beehives, nesting boxes and a sheep pen in our park to help biodiversity.

The domain's short story

Château Moncets is a property dating from 1770 and bears the name of General de Moncets, one of Napoleon III's generals who acquired it. The Chambrun property was created between the wars, its name "Chambrun" comes from the main parcel of the vineyard called "Champ brun".these two chateaux were brought together in 2015 to form the Moncets & Chambrun vineyard

The winemaker's pride

Ideally located in the heart of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, on a terroir of clay and gravel, we work our vineyard in parcels to express the best of our terroir. Our unique plots are harvested and vinified separately in our gravity-fed cellar: our wines have crisp fruit, a smooth texture and a beautiful freshness.
