To be a winemaker is above all to love one's land, one's vineyard and one's wines. Winemaker is also to transmit this love to others: to make feel our love that we have on the surface of our skin.The wine that resembles me is a Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie "Celticae": on the one hand for the emotional side because it is my new baby. But this wine is also friendly, refreshing and surprising. It's all me! I have neither god nor master! I trace my way without worrying about others. Faithful to my convictions and to the quality of my wines. All that matters to me is that my wines delight the amateurs and that my speech pleases those who read it. An important meeting : me !... More seriously, I would say Yves Ratel, former commercial director of Vignobles Rollet, in St Emilion. A lion, both wise but whose inner fire is always burning. A man who knew how to teach me the virtues of communication and business and who taught me how to make our love for wine felt.

The domain's short story

This area is about family first and foremost. Philippe and Pierre-Yves' great grandfather acquired the Château to produce these wines of character with passion. Wine is a family story, but also a passion above all. We like to share this history of the estate with our customers, both on the history of the estate and on our wines.

The winemaker's pride

Historical property in southern Brittany. The Château de la Galissonnière was the home of an illustrious Admiral and botanist: Roland-Michel Barrin, to whom we owe the Magnolia. Philippe and Pierre-Yves Lusseaud, the 4th generation of winegrowers on the estate, produce 28 hectares of Muscadet AOP Sèvre et Maine, but also Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. The variety of soils (gabbro, schist, gneiss and granite) and the nobility of this terroir, offer a palette of wine styles, both elegant, but also racy and with character. Our orientation is based on the sense of welcome and conviviality, that's why the two brothers offer many activities on the estate.
