Domaine de Cabasse - Garnacho - Rouge - 2021

COLOR : Very beautiful blood red color with light mahogany reflections. ARROWS : Explosion of licorice aromas associated with garrigue herbs. The nose is expressive, smoky, open and pleasant. PALATE : The mouth is very smooth. It develops fine and elegant aromas of ripe red fruits such as strawberries from Sérignan and raspberries from Mont Ventoux. Generous and solar presence in the mouth, with a jammy finish.

The word of the Winemaker, Benoit Baudry :

Garnacho, as its name suggests, is composed of 80% Grenache, the king of Côtes du Rhône grapes. It carries the personality of the village of Séguret, whose slopes are home to the vines from which we use the grapes. 12 months in casks and barrels give it a very pleasant roundness and perfectly finish the elegant tannins.

Ici c'est le cassis qui domine au nez. Il est puissant et a un côté toasté.
La bouche est très belle et flatteuse: des fruits noirs, des épices et un équilibre au top!
Si vous passez dans le sud ouest, ramenez ce vin qui devrait trouver des compagnons culinaires avec qui le déguster!.
