The nose is vanilla, the aromas in mouth evoke spices, but also red fruits; which gives a very pleasant intensity. The tannins are powerful but very supple.

The word of the Winemaker, JEAN LUC BRUNEL :

On our hillsides, where already the Romans cultivated the vine, the assembly of our best grenaches and syrah makes this cuvée. Aged 10 months in oak barrels of 2 years on average, long maceration, stirring with after incorporation of lees of viogniers to the following harvest for several weeks.
