Wine with a very mineral character. Light gold, this Riesling is at first discreetly floral and fruity before displaying mineral notes. It reveals a beautiful matter, balanced and fresh. It will be very pleasant from 2018. The Altenberg de Wolxheim is a wine for ageing and gastronomy par excellence, with a tasty and generous character. Over the years, it develops a powerful and harmonious body and fine aromas specific to marl and limestone soils.

Un nez citrique avec de belles notes de pétrole! Minéral et frais en bouche, il s'ouvre sur des arômes d'agrumes confits et de zeste d'orange.

Wolxheim est sans doute moins connu que certains villages plus au sud sur la route des vins mais cela donne une jolie pépite et un bien joli Riesling. Bu en famille et avec plaisir. Et je suis sûr que cette belle bouteille vieillira très bien pour des arômes encore plus "mûrs". Très pragmatiquement aussi : un beau rapport qualité / prix.
