In its pale yellow colour with white gold reflections, this wine charms with its powerful nose combining complexity and elegance. After the first mineral notes of candied orange and fresh mint, the nose opens up with fragrances of mirabelle plum and white flowers, enhanced with fresh almond. Its aromatic complexity and its evolution with aeration make this wine a real journey through the aromas. The mouth, ample and tender, has a nice sensuality persisting on the plum.
This wine comes from our oldest vines of 1937: we harvested it at maturity and kept the wine on its fermentation lees for 18 months. A gastronomic wine.
Enjoy it now and decant it to see all the aromas develop. Serve between 10 and 12 °C.
This wine will go very well with your scallops with vanilla cream, veal dishes and pressed cheeses.
