Cabardès

Cabardès is a unique appellation in the Languedoc region, west of Carcassonne, that derives its distinctiveness from a mandatory blend of Atlantic and Mediterranean grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are blended with Syrah and Grenache.

This blend of Bordeaux and Rhône styles produces red wines of great complexity, that are both full-bodied and fresh, fruity and spicy. The terroir, influenced by both the ocean and the Mediterranean, gives Cabardès wines a balance and uniqueness that are hard to find elsewhere.
