Côte Rôtie is one of the world's most prestigious appellations for red wine, nestled on the dizzying granite slopes of the Northern Rhône Valley, in Ampuis. Here, Syrah achieves an expression that few other terroirs can rival.
The “Côte Brune” and the “Côte Blonde” produce wines with distinct profiles. The traditional addition of Viognier (up to 20%) imparts an incomparable aroma of violets and irises. These are legendary wines, best enjoyed after 10 to 20 years of aging.
