Crémant du Jura is the sparkling wine of the Jura region, made primarily from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Savagnin. Savagnin adds a subtle oxidative note and a unique character not found in any other Crémant.
These Jura sparkling wines offer a lovely length on the palate, with aromas of apple, hazelnut, and sometimes walnut, depending on the proportion of Savagnin. Some Crémants du Jura aged on the lees develop a complexity comparable to that of prestigious champagnes.
