Divin Loire
About the Estate We have been certified organic (AB) since 2019 and biodynamic (DEMETER) since 2023. The 2015 vintage was our first, and we offer fruity wines that reflect our terroir. A Brief History of the Estate I began by earning an associate’s degree in food science to gain admission to an engineering school, where I simultaneously earned my degree in oenology. After completing my studies, I traveled the world to discover and learn about emerging wine-producing countries: Australia, Chile, and New Zealand. I also worked several harvests in France’s wine regions, in Burgundy and the Costières de Nîmes. In 2008, I moved to Cheverny to take a position as an oenologist, and in 2014, I decided to return to my roots in Oisly to create, with my husband, our DiVin Loire estate and its Divins wines... The pride of the estate The estate, which spans 10 hectares, is located in Sologne—more specifically in the Oisly wine region—nestled among forests and rivers at an elevation of 100 meters between the Loire and the Cher. The vines grow on sandy-clay soils, featuring our flagship variety, Sauvignon Blanc, for our white wines, as well as Pineau d’Aunis, Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Côt Malbec for our reds and rosés. The average age of the vines is 35 years, with old vines dating back over 100 years for the Pineau d'Aunis. The modified oceanic climate is the most continental in the region: slightly drier and cooler… which brings greater finesse and freshness to our wines.
