Domaine Labranche-Laffont is a family-owned winery located in Maumusson-Laguian, in the Gers department, within the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellation. The estate was taken over in 1993 by Christine Dupuy, a pioneer of local viticulture, who transitioned it to certified organic farming while preserving plots of very old vines, including a rare pre-phylloxera Tannat plot dating back to the 19th century.

The vines are planted on south-east-facing slopes of clay and gravel, which promote optimal ripening of the Tannat, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The estate also produces dry and sweet Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh wines made from Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng grapes.

Winemaking is carried out with minimal intervention to allow the terroir’s character to shine through. Madiran’s red wines are distinguished by their structure, refined tannins, and aromatic intensity, while the whites are fresh and well-balanced.
