Domaine Les Terres Blanches
Located in Bué, in the heart of the Sancerre region, Domaine Les Terres Blanches benefits from a rich diversity of soils: the famous deep, structuring white clay-limestone soils; the lighter, well-draining caillottes; and clay-siliceous areas that impart tension and vibrancy. This mosaic is directly reflected in the wines, with expressions that are always distinct but never uniform.
Sauvignon Blanc reigns supreme here, and is produced with great finesse. On the white soils, it gains body and depth, with a more enveloping texture. On the gravelly soils, it becomes livelier and more straightforward, with an almost sharp freshness. Aging, sometimes in barrels, enhances the wines without ever masking their origin, adding depth and a beautiful texture.
Céline and Benoit Blet also produce Pinot Noir, with the same focus on balance. Their wines are refined and elegant, never overly extracted, with delicate profiles that emphasize fruit and freshness, and are very true to the terroirs of the Centre-Loire region.
What we love here is this deeply authentic interpretation of the landscape: each vintage seems like a piece of the soil bottled up. These are precise, lively wines that always find their place at the table and that we open without a second thought.
A brand we trust implicitly.
