Based in Dambach-la-Ville, Alsace, the Hauller family has a long history dating back to the 18th century. Long renowned for their expertise as coopers, the family spent several generations crafting large Alsatian oak barrels before shifting their focus entirely to winemaking in the mid-20th century.
In 1960, Louis Hauller set the estate on the path to producing Alsace wines, with a clear commitment to elegance, the distinct character of the grape varieties, and precise balance. This direction marked a lasting turning point in the estate’s identity, which is now carried forward by Ludovic and Guillaume Hauller, representatives of the twelfth generation of the family.
