Le Bois Sacré

Jura | France

Le Bois Sacré is a small vineyard of about 4 hectares located in Lucq-de-Béarn within the Jurançon appellation, on south-southeast-facing slopes overlooking the Pyrenees, benefiting from the Béarn climate, which is influenced by both the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.

The sandy-clay soils with pebbles are ideal for growing traditional grape varieties such as Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, which are used to produce dry, well-rounded white wines that reflect the minerality and freshness characteristic of the Jurançon terroir.

Vineyard work is done by hand, with a focus on soil balance and the surrounding biodiversity. In the winery, the winemaking process aims to balance aromatic expression, terroir identity, and finesse, while prioritizing respect for the natural environment.
