Moderato

Moderato was born from a simple idea: to allow people to enjoy wine and its traditions without the constraints of alcohol. The project is aimed both at those who wish to reduce their consumption and at those for whom alcohol is not an option, for personal, cultural, or health reasons.

Founded in 2020 by Fabien and Sébastien, Moderato is built upon genuine winemaking expertise. The wines are crafted from carefully selected grape varieties grown in Gascony and Southwest France, with extensive collaboration with the winemakers from the outset. Time, tasting, and blending are central to the process, with a constant pursuit of balance, texture, and aromatic precision.

Moderato wines embody a respectful approach to terroir and raw materials. Each alcohol-free wine is conceived as a faithful interpretation of its grape variety, offering an authentic, structured, and expressive experience, without artificially imitating classic wine.

Committed to sustainable viticulture, the winery pays particular attention to soil health, water management, and biodiversity preservation. Partner winegrowers also utilize biomass and recycle by-products from the vineyard and winery, in line with a responsible and consistent production approach.

Moderato thus offers a new way of approaching wine: demanding, accessible and adapted to today's uses, without sacrificing taste or pleasure.
