Moderato

Moderato was born from a simple idea: to allow enjoyment of wine and its rituals without the constraint of alcohol. The project caters to both those who wish to reduce their consumption and those for whom alcohol is not an option, whether for personal, cultural, or health reasons.

Founded in 2020 by Fabien and Sébastien, Maison Moderato draws upon genuine viticultural expertise. The wines are crafted from carefully selected grape varieties in Gascony and the Southwest, involving extensive preliminary work with the winemakers. Time, tasting, and blending are central to the process, with a constant pursuit of balance, texture, and aromatic precision.

The Moderato wines are crafted with a deep respect for the terroir and the raw ingredients. Each non-alcoholic wine is designed to be a faithful interpretation of its grape variety, offering an authentic, structured, and expressive experience, without attempting to artificially imitate traditional wine.

Committed to sustainable viticulture, the winery pays particular attention to soil health, water management, and the preservation of biodiversity. The partner winemakers also prioritize the use of biomass and the recycling of byproducts from the vineyard and winery, as part of a responsible and consistent production approach.
