Monthélie 1er Cru

Monthélie is a village in the Côte de Beaune region, situated just beyond Volnay, producing Pinot Noir reds and a few Chardonnay whites. Its Premier Crus offer wines of great finesse at prices that are still affordable.

Monthélie reds are elegant, with aromas of cherry and violet, fine tannins, and a lovely freshness. Often overlooked, they offer a fine alternative to the neighboring Volnay and Pommard wines at a much lower price.
