Veramonte is a Chilean winery founded in the 1990s in the Casablanca Valley, in western Chile, by Augustín Huneeus, a pioneer who helped put this then-little-known wine region on the map. The winery is now part of the González Byass group, a major Spanish family-owned company, while maintaining its own distinct identity focused on organic and sustainable viticulture.

Veramonte’s vineyards cover several hundred hectares, primarily in the Casablanca Valley—known for its cool climate, ideal for white wines and delicate reds—and in the Colchagua Valley, which is warmer and better suited to full-bodied red wines. The estate has been committed to certified organic farming for over ten years, with a philosophy that emphasizes living soils, biodiversity, and environmentally friendly viticulture to produce high-quality grapes.

Veramonte produces a wide range of wines, from crisp whites such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to elegant reds such as Pinot Noir and Carménère, all crafted using sustainable methods and with minimal intervention. These wines are prized for their pure expression of fruit, their aromatic balance, and their ability to faithfully reflect the characteristics of their Chilean terroir.
