Weingut Ziereisen
Weingut Ziereisen is a family-owned winery located in Efringen-Kirchen in the German wine region of Baden, founded in 1991 by Hanspeter Ziereisen with the help of his wife, Edeltraut. Today, the family cultivates approximately 21 hectares of vineyards, including grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Gutedel (Chasselas), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, and Syrah.
The estate’s philosophy is rooted in manual labor and respect for the vine’s natural rhythm, with grapes harvested by hand and particular attention paid to their selection. In the cellar, fermentation is spontaneous and human intervention is kept to a minimum, allowing the wine to develop slowly and naturally. Most of the wines are bottled unfiltered, allowing the aromatic complexity and finesse of the Markgräflerland terroirs to be expressed authentically.
Weingut Ziereisen produces a diverse range of wines, from single-varietal wines to more specific terroir-driven wines, often crafted with patience and aged for extended periods, and renowned for their depth, freshness, and pure expression.
